    finally we've got bloody internet

    changes changes...new house, new job.

We have a resident possum on the fruit tree in our backyard. With branches extending right up till our rear balcony, we can watch it feed...just like in those tv documentaries...hehe. It's very cute. So far it's been coming everynight. And just a few minutes ago, it actually climbed up to the balcony, put a paw on the edge and look at us! I think I might name it...but I can't think of a name better than...erm...possum.

    life as it is

Barely back and back to work again...sigh...working sucks, eventhough earning money is great. Worked 4 days this week, and each time in different locations. Will this happen to me when I actually get a real job? I mean like getting bored of it. I wonder. Doing the same thing everyday sucks. Variety is the spice of life.

Anyway, pretty easy for me to slip back into the living in bris routine with mum being here. I guess I'm lucky, having a piece of home here, at the other end of the continent, and on a whole other continent.

WK's going back to msia for 5 weeks, so had a little get together in the valley. Funny how certain random people you know are connected to you in some other way. Small world...even for a city like bris.

Uni starts soon...i can say 'yay' i guess. An excuse to work less.

    hmm...

    The only real voyage
    of discovery consists
    not in seeking new
    landscapes, but in having
    new eyes.

    my month at home

ok so i am a lazy blogger. Once in a while i just record down a little summary of what's been going on. Works for me.

We did lots of driving around. Drove from KK to Tuaran just to have Tuaran mee. Ok I admit Tuaran mee is pretty special. And I know you can get it at Damai too. But Kota Belut mee is another thing...driving to Kota Belut to have Kota Belut mee. Which is...? Kon lau mien la...jeez. omg...some ppl really need a life....some ppl....
One good thing came out of it. Got myself a pair of 'kampung Adidas'. Rm4 each!

Went to Kudat for bout 2 days. Stayed in this wonderful house...by the beach with a pool. Best of all with puppies! So darn cute. So finally i have seen the tip of borneo...yay...yipee.........yah...

The last few days before I left, went to my old school to watch the sports day with Jennifer and Mary (HAHA...new friends?). Missed the dancing on the 1st day but managed to catch it on the next. Nothing special....ok i guess. Well everyone thinks their dance during their year is the best anyway, so call me biased. Even went to the bazaar. Hehe...I am friggin' old man.

Then...celebrated my sis' 2X birthday (ooo...someone getting old...). Had yummy food at Ang's. That's all lo...

    What is this feeling?

So sad....to leave my sis, my dad, my silly dog, kk town, even my very untidy house. There's nothing exactly amazing about it...kk 'city'. What's there to miss? Besides cheap food of course. Still I get this feeling where I don't feel like leaving. Even if there seems to be nothing there. Maybe that's the feeling of home? I guess everyone has that feeling if you've lived somewhere too long. Being there just let's you relive some of your memories, but you know it'll never be the same as when you were last there. No, kk's not home. kk's just part of my history. Home is where the heart is (cheesy I know). So home is where my family is. Oh well...one month, and now back to real life. I had fun.
