    Mid-semester break

Mid-semester break is almost over...sob sob... 1 week is definately not enough. But thank goodness semester break is about 1 month...not like some ppl's so short. Haha....I'm seeing green....

Hey time for an update. Not just adding lots of youtube videos, which is so much easier than actually thinking. But anyway, what have I been doing anyway? I really have to think hard to remember sometimes. Time's been flying by so fast I can't keep track.

Newsflash: my sister graduated. Ain't that grand?

Now back to me. I remember going to a dinner party. 5 guys, a girl and creme brule. If that is how you spell it. And we got to burn our sugar on top of the creme brule with a torch thingy. How cool was that. Ok not very but its not everyday you heat desert with a mini flaming torch. I've jumped to desert...before that we had lasagne made from scratch. I hardly make anything from scratch anymore. Life is too easy. Everything comes in jars. Or premixed powders. I think that dinner was ages ago.

I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a Saturday. As one might expect, not the most mind-blowing cinematic experience ever. But it was fun reminiscing about my Donatello action figure, and the Ninja Turtle toy van we won in a supermarket lucky dip...but that's a whole other story.

Then that yapsiokwun came lo....no big deal rite? And trying to surprise ppl somemore. sejuk. But then sendiri 'chaun bao' tell ppl she's going to the Gold Coast. So that sejuk moi came to our house to surprise us. WAH...so surprised oh.

Then we had Korean kimchi soup in the city. It was good, never had that before. Took her around Southbank abit, took a super short ferry ride.

Took her to West End the other day. Had some char kuey teow that wasn't so great. But the Three Monkeys was nice as it always is. The deco just makes you relax. YSW's chocolate milkshake was absolutely delicious. But then it came in a big metal tumbler which reminded us of Indian restaurants. But it was still good. We even signed the Guestbook before leaving.

Then I got my hair cut. My hair that was relatively long for someone like me. More than a year of growth. That was an unusual experience. Like getting my hair cut by 3 different people. And it took more than an hour. It usually takes less than 15 mins man. Did it at a school of hairdressing. Explains it huh? That's what you get for being cheap. Turned out fine at least.  Hair is so important. My head doesn't feel as boring  as it used too.

So long haircut leads to almost being late to cook dinner. Had CLR over for dinner. Don't recall cooking dinner for anyone else except family before, let alone vegetarian. Simple asian cooking which thankfully did not take too long. And she brought this awesome cake that she made from scratch. Hey...is it just me or is everyone else better at making yummy food from scratch?

That's really all I can remember for now......
